What happens when a scan is rejected?
Kardy keeps rejected scans explicit so staff know whether to retry, use the member-code fallback, or ask for help.
A rejected scan does not change the member’s progress. The workspace should show a clear reason and keep the next action visible, whether that means trying again or using the manual member-code fallback.
The camera accepts supported Kardy membership QR formats, not website links, join-page QR codes or scripts. Rejected content is not opened or executed. A recognised format must still pass server checks. Ask the member to show their current QR, keep it fully inside the frame, hold steady and avoid screen glare. If camera permission fails, use manual entry. A scan alone never adds a stamp or redeems a reward.
If the problem continues, contact the Kardy team with the merchant and member context shown in the workspace. Do not share passwords or private signing credentials.
