Does resetting my customer password also change my merchant password?

Yes. Your consumer wallet and merchant portal share one Kardy account and password.

Resetting your password on getkardy.com changes the password used at merchants.getkardy.com, and vice versa. There is no separate merchant password. Use the new password for your next sign-in on either site, including all businesses you own or work for.

A password reset leaves your email, customer memberships, stamps, rewards, businesses, subscriptions and Owner, Manager or Staff roles unchanged. Joining a business as a customer never grants permission to manage it.

You may need to sign in separately on each site because they have separate sign-in sessions. This does not mean you have separate accounts. Do not assume a reset signs out every existing session; contact Kardy Support if you suspect unauthorised access.

Development and test accounts are separate from production accounts, even when they use the same email. Resetting a development password does not change your password on the live Kardy sites.

Each employee should use their own Kardy account and invitation, not the Owner’s password. Never share passwords, verification codes or reset links with a shop, colleague or support agent.

The short version

  1. 1Choose Forgot your password? on either Kardy sign-in page.
  2. 2Use your existing account email and complete the reset instructions sent to you.
  3. 3Sign in with the new password on the consumer or merchant site. Do not create a replacement account.

For more detail, read our guide to password recovery for both sites.
