Why does signup say my account already exists?

The email already has a Kardy login—even if you have never set up a business.

Customer and merchant access share one Kardy login. If you previously registered for a customer wallet, trying to create a new login with that email on the merchant portal can show an account-already-exists message. It does not mean that you already have a business workspace.

Use the password from your first signup attempt. If you try signup again with the same email and password, Kardy resumes your existing account instead of creating a duplicate. Already verified? You are signed in. Still waiting for verification? Kardy opens the verification step and requests a fresh email.

You can also return through Sign in with your original email and password. Enter the latest 6-digit verification code, or follow the email link if prompted. If an old code expired, choose Send a new code after the countdown. If delivery fails, stay on the verification screen and retry; there is no need to create another account.

Forgot the password? Use Forgot your password? rather than creating a second account. Use the email associated with your existing memberships or team invitation. Never share passwords, verification codes or reset links with a shop or support agent.
