Do I need separate customer and merchant accounts?

Your password is shared across the consumer and merchant sites. Resetting it on getkardy.com also changes the password used at merchants.getkardy.com, and vice versa. Use the new password the next time you sign in to either site. Your email, memberships, rewards, businesses, billing and team roles remain unchanged.

Use getkardy.com for your personal wallet, memberships and rewards. Use merchants.getkardy.com to set up or manage a business. You may need to sign in separately on each site, but you use the same account details.

One account can own multiple businesses, and each business can have multiple outlets. You do not need another email address. Each business keeps its own billing, team and member list; each outlet belongs to exactly one business. Start a new business with one outlet and arrange additional outlet activation after setup.

Creating an account on the consumer site does not create a business or start a merchant subscription. On the merchant portal, Set up your business lets you create a new account or sign in with an existing one. The business is created only when you complete and submit its setup form.

Already a customer? Sign in on the merchant portal with your existing email and password. If you have no workspace, you can set up a business. If you already own or belong to a workspace, you can open it. Joining a shop as a customer never gives you permission to manage that shop.

Personal name and contact details belong to your shared account. Business details, team permissions and billing belong to the individual workspace. Stamps and rewards stay with the customer memberships you joined; setting up a business does not move or combine them.
