How is broadcast usage counted?
Broadcast usage counts recipients queued, not campaigns sent or confirmed inbox deliveries.
A broadcast queued to 100 eligible recipients uses 100 recipients of allowance. Writing, reviewing, saving or downloading a draft does not consume recipient allowance. Recipients must meet the organisation's consent and membership requirements.
Allowance is reserved when recipients are queued, including deliveries later suppressed or failed. Retries do not reserve the same recipient again. If the batch exceeds available capacity, Kardy rejects it rather than partially queueing it.
The Owner can open Settings → Usage & limits → Broadcast usage to see used, remaining, monthly limit and reset date. The counter resets on the first day of the month at 00:00 UTC. Use a broadcast's delivery summary to check its status: queued or accepted by the email service does not confirm inbox delivery.
Broadcast delivery needs an active paid merchant subscription, completed delivery setup and a separately configured recipient allowance. No allowance does not mean unlimited sending.
