Kardy vs
PocketStamp

A café-focused loyalty layer that puts a branded card in Apple or Google Wallet and works alongside compatible POS setups.

Our take

Check the counter workflow before the card design

For a busy café, a loyalty tool has to fit around taking orders and making drinks. Start your PocketStamp evaluation with your exact till, staff devices and service routine. Ask for a demonstration using that setup rather than assuming a general compatibility claim covers it.

Kardy currently uses a separate merchant scanning flow. It is worth trying that extra step during a realistic service rehearsal. A standalone system can be easy to understand, but the person operating it should decide whether it fits the counter.

Where Kardy still falls short

Kardy does not yet offer PocketStamp's existing POS-adjacent workflow for compatible Android tills. Automatic halfway, reward-ready, birthday, and win-back reminders are not in the current Kardy MVP. PocketStamp documents campaign history and delivery counts that Kardy's first merchant workspace does not yet provide.

A quick feature reference

Use this to shortlist questions for a demo, not to count checkmarks. “Not listed” means we could not confirm a capability—not that it is unavailable.

Try it in practice

Rehearse a short queue with one staff member taking payment and another preparing orders. Work out who issues the stamp and how they know it has not already been issued.

Use the phones and staff roles you expect to have at launch. Keep a note of anything that needs an explanation, a manual correction or a second device. Those are the details to resolve before inviting customers.
